We have some exciting news to share. Thanks to generous grants from the Clinton County Foundation LEGACY Fund, the Clinton County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and your support, we will be providing an ADA kayak/canoe launch in the Spring of 2026. This launch will be located on the north side of the lake by the Campground Beach. We are hoping to secure additional funding to upgrade the launch with the newly released overhead ADA Grab Bar and a parking lot that includes handicapped parking next to the launch. If you would like to donate by credit card or PayPal, please go to the HOME tab for quick access to the PayPal QR code.

We strongly encourage you to watch the great video below to see how our disabled veterans are benefiting from this launch. We hope to host some events for our veterans next year. Please share this posting. Thank you! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxCZgLOTyhE

First State Bank graciously donated the funds to install the handicap parking area. This will make the new dock much more accessible for those with physical limitations. Many thanks to First State Bank!

Here is an interesting article that appeared in the Wilmington News Journal about First State Bank's donation for the handicapped parking area for the upcoming ADA paddle sport dock.

Spring Project 2026 ADA Kayak/Canoe Launch

We worked closely with the park personnel and Baughman Farm Excavating to install the parking area.

Baughman Farm Excavating is installing the handicapped parking area by the ADA paddlesports dock, which will be installed soon.

The Wilmington New Journal featured this project in a wonderful news article that is available to read here.

The handicapped parking area for the new ADA paddleports dock has been installed, thanks to a very generous donation from First State Bank. This donation will provide handicapped paddlers with easy access to the dock, otherwise they would need to park in a parking lot on a hill about 500 ft. away.
