Cowan Lake State Park offers a peaceful setting complete with scenic inlets laden with the American Lotus water lily. Swimming, fishing, sailing, kayaking and canoeing are popular on the lake.
Meandering trails through mature woodlands complement the natural features of this scenic 1,775-acre park.

**Friends Cabin is located inside the Cowan Lake Campgrounds, in the overflow parking lot. Typically Cotton Candy Snow Cones, and drinks are served. ( Some weekends also hot dogs)
